Well, the way I haggle and the way most people do is by counter-offers.
You say WTS [Item] 10k and I counter with 'take 7k?'
Then we go on from there depending on how much each person is willing to give.

Players buying cheap stuff on auction (hammer haft 30 HP, 1K only) and then offering only 500 Gold. Plus I did not check and sold the item for the price.

Some people always try to pull a fast one, even for such low price items. Really ticks me off.

They are played by, from what I've seen, the least skilled players spamming their skills as fast as they can in the middle of the majority of the team with spiteful spirit on them. Most of them do not know a nd d kiting usage. Their battle strategy mainly consists of waiting for a tank and running down their skill bar. Most of them think they're tanks and it's the monks fault they died because they fail horribly at kiting.

The only reason you see that is because all the good elementalists, such as myself, only ever use heroes and hench. That way we avoid the people you describe which seems to be the same for warriors, assassins, rangers and any other class that seems to be the flavour of the week.

I hate people who QQ and start thread topics just to QQ about others they hate. Especially those that get clobbered in AB and then makeup stuff like they woulda won or never have been killed if thus and thus hadn't happened.

That i aggree with, i only ever take my ele out with heroes and alliance teams these days. Too many morons using team setups involving obs tanks.

Which is another thing i hate, players obsessed with obs tanks, i have leeway in DoA even though its not needed but when i see people using them in UW and FoW i loose what little hope i had for the pugging communities ability to improve.

it has to be the ones who buy the glowing dork beacon armor and weapons like glowy gauntlets that do not match any set of armor who think this makes them better than someone

these items can be bought with a single days farming

i think anet intentionally made these items ugly and stand out so loudly to see how pathetic some people are for attention and need to compensate for their insecurities online because they fail in rl

Agreed. Usually the same people who think they are 1337 for wearing FoW armour and look down on "poorer (lol?) people". They don't seem to understand that some people don't want to buy FoW because it's fugly.

Something else I hate...

...when your playing an MM in AB and you're using a build from the pvxwiki and you've changed it a little bit to make it even better. You're creating minions and tank'ing yourself to stay alive, and it takes about 2 or 3 warriors to eventually bring you down.

Then when your dead and someone posts a comment on the local chat during battle saying "noob, using a wiki build"!

Hello... it took 3 of you to kill me, during which time I created numerious minions and slaughtered half your team at the shrine and recapped it and all that took 10 minutes to take me down.

Yet I get noob because I was able to stay alive, do some damage and 10minutes later they actually manage to kill me! I hate people who just throw the word noob around with no regard for whether it makes sense or not.

This is why I taunt people in AB now if it takes ages to kill me. It means I get mobbed by 10 warriors and it still takes ages to die and I can create minions and they dont seem to realise while their trying to kill me, the rest of my team is off capping.

I hate people who spell things wrong. And I don't mean normal words, I mean words that are in GW, and are CLEARLY written EVERYWHERE as you play through the game, and yet they still manage to spell them wrong. It's like, learn to read or gtfo. Sometimes it gets ridiculous.

I'm pretty sure a godmode MM wasn't the intention for AB. 2-3 warriors put out more DPS than most monks can prot/heal anyway...so why do you hate it when you get owned....?

I kinda get the feeling that people hate too much. Why can't we play a game? Why cant I type whatever I want in whatever way I want? Why can't I wear armor I like to look at? Why can't I wear cheap armor cause it works as good as the one that looks good? Why can't I be a noob if I just bought the game? Why does everyone expect everyone else to be elite? Why can't I play as a guy or a girl? Why can't I trade for something the way I want, and get what I want at prices I deem fair? Why can't I use Vent if I have no mic? No I dont know anything about pvp and I didnt say I did and get this.... I dont care. I use a build in AB which I enjoy and I like and it works.

Why should another player bash me when it took him and his friend 5 minutes to kill me while I did damage and raised minions? There is no reason for it. Im in AB to have fun and earn points.

Some people just pick at anythin they can and throw noob around to feel good about themselves.

I dislike players who think they're really good, make everyone ping skillsets before you do the easiest of missions, then call everyone noob because they are the first to die because of their own stupidness rather than because of the Monks lack of healing skill. Frenzy & Healing Signet, no cancel stance, lol.

I dislike local chat trade spammers, they should have all been banned by now.

I dislike people who whisper you to insult you then ignore you so that you can't give as good as you have recieved, the cowards way to insult someone.

I also dislike players who are the last man left who just run away for the remainder of a match in RA without even attempting to put up a fight, when their team has had their asses handed to them and has no hope of winning by time up.

I dislike Monks who leave after one game in RA, especially when you end up with one less player in the next game. Sorry, but we need you guys damnit!

I dislike Assassins with PVXwiki builds who think they're good, please come back and think you are good when you create your own build anown someone. Some out there can be really creative with their builds, kudos to them.

I dislike Elitists who think everything should be done a set way and leave no room for experimentation. People like that take all the creativity out of the game.

I dislike people in Alliance Battles who run off their mouths at the beginning of the battle, then start crying noob when you own them. Love owning them though.
